Daddy's Group began as one food truck on the streets of Butwal in 2012. Under the single ownership of founder Kamal Jung Kunwar, it has grown into a diversified Nepali business house spanning restaurants, cafés, hotels, education, automotive and retail — across Kathmandu, Pokhara, Butwal, Bhairahawa and Palpa.

From a single food truck to a group
Daddy's Kitchen was established in 2012 with the motive of serving tasty food with quality service at a reasonable cost, for every age group. The journey began with fast food services in Butwal, Lumbini Province, and expanded into three major cities — Butwal, Pokhara and Kathmandu — adding new cuisines along the way.
Today the group has grown into a trusted hospitality name known for consistency, quality ingredients, inviting ambience and a customer-first philosophy — whether it's a casual family dinner, a quick lunch, or a special celebration. Outlets sit under the same ownership but pursue different missions: Organic Papaya, established 2079 B.S., is built around women's empowerment with over 90% women staff, serving sugar- and gluten-free, organic food under the motto "Fuel Good, Fill Good." One Chicken Four Item was built to serve pure Nepali local food — guests welcomed with buttermilk and local Pahadi corn, and a single local hen served four ways.
